前言
　　飞利浦的手机一贯以待机时间出众为人们所称道，而其中的Xenium系列则更是此中出类拔萃的待机悍将。自929起到939、969、989等等，Xenium系列坚持以“9”命名的惯例是否也更体贴的告诉中国用户Xenium的故事。而随后9@9、9@9++及9@9C等独特的命名方式也似乎在坚持Xenium的尊贵与不凡。

“厚道”外观
　　9@98的外观应该说是相当“飞机”的，方头方脑加上厚实的感觉，圆浑的边角处理和扬声孔的特色造型，应该说很能称得上典型的

飞利浦

手机。屏幕下方显眼的Xenium9@98字样似乎也在凸显9@98的地位。

　　银色镀金属磨砂质感外壳机身，88g的重量虽然说不上轻巧，但拿在手里也不会有沉甸甸之感。感觉105×44×19mm的机身较长，加上较小的屏幕面积，这就使得按键颇为舒展。两侧没有常见的音量调节键，机身左上角是吊饰孔。

　　背面PHILIPS的logo下有一横向软胶，除了起到防滑条作用之外，卸电池盖时也可以派上用场，另外如果将手机放在桌面上时该设计也能起到一定的防磨擦作用。

按键的分布没有

5系列的另类特色，不过将“呼叫”、“挂机”键与清除键等调换位置倒可能给初次接触者带来几许不便。四维方向键分别对应“发送短信”、“查看电话簿”、“声效”、“铃声音量”，不过上方向键可能由于与上缘接触较紧密的关系，较难操作，按下时没有常有的脆感。数字键区被三条很明显的细小钢条划分开，虽然这样减少了误操作的几率，但同时也降低了操作的手感。

声色不敢恭维
　　101×80分辨率（可显示5 行中文）、4096色CSTN彩色屏幕，在色字当道的当今手机业界确乎可以算得上“寒碜”。其实从整个画面的表现力来看，还没有到惨不忍睹的地步。不过在色彩的还原以及亮度等的处理上还是显露了其材质的不足，而粗糙的颗粒感则应是最让人感到不满的地方了。选择“显示时钟”后，加上其它一些提示图标，整个待机画面就所剩无几。9@98 的程序菜单还是延续着老一辈的光荣传统，不过相应于屏幕倒也协调的不错。

　16和弦铃声听起来似乎要比其屏幕体面一点，但铃音的质量只能算是一般，对于追求声色的朋友而言显然也是较难以接受的。不过随机附带的29首可选铃声都还不错，而且Y字型扬声孔的穿透力也还可以。

短信通讯录有大肚量
　　9@98的短信输入还是相当便捷的，在选择文字以及更换输入法等方面都有较简便的方法，而且充分利用了方向键进行选择。只是只能显示一行代选文字和狭小的视觉空间还是带来了稍许不便。机身最多可储存250条文字短信，也应该是当前较流行的存储范围了。

　　1000条名片式电话簿也是商务用机水平了，“移动电话”、“传真电话”、“数据号码”甚至于“寻呼机号码”都一一具备。多达20个群组划分，而且每个组可以设置不同铃声图片，应该能更方便于管理你的各类好友。

实用功能
　　9@98内置三款游戏：拆墙游戏、贪吃蛇、大智者，虽然由于屏幕因素可玩性大大降低了，但聊胜于无，无聊时刻还是能派上用场的。支持三组自定义闹钟，可选择“单只一次”、“每日一次”、“周末除外”等，可谓相当体贴周到，而特有的“打盹模式”也是人性化的进一步表现。至于计算器、农历转换之类的功能也是普遍出现在现在大部分手机上的了。

　　WAP 1.2.1虽然不比WAP2.0，但还是显示了9@98娱乐拓展的一面。另外支持FM收音相信是比之一些小游戏更显得实用的功能，毕竟坐在公车上玩游戏之类可是分分钟头晕的事情。不过没有配备红外传输仍然成为一大诟病，要知道

电池续航名副其实
　　配备1050mAh锂电池，从电池的厚度就可以感觉它的分量和“肚量”。不过待机一个月当然只是在非常理想的状态下测得的，实际使用当然不可能如实验室一般。在我们充电后使用三天的时间内，电池容量显示仍然满格，估计正常使用待机十天应该不成问题。为了超长待机9@98对消费者颇为看重的声色表现都作出了“牺牲”，可见

要把这部新“飞机”打造为新一代“待机王”的决心。

总结
　　可以说9@98 尽显“飞机”本色，而其超长的待机时间也使得其不负于Xenium家族一员的身分。遗憾的是为了打造这部新一代“待机王”，屏幕和铃声这两项耗电能力最强的指标在9@98身上被压缩到了极致。凭心而论，30天待机虽然“听上去很美”，确实能吸引一大批消费者的眼球，但实际使用中有没有这般需要还真的有待商榷。或许各项表现的综合协调引来的另一番消费指向更能反映理想的消费行为。但不管如何，拥有新一代“待机王”美誉的9@98有理由值得我们期待。
