前卫时尚之外型：
　　外型设计是W900的重心之一，抛光的釉面烤漆令其有了艺术品的感觉，机身各处的材质都不尽相同，可见其做工之考究。整机设计充满层次感和时尚感，虽然体积不算小巧，但握在手中相当舒适，各处接缝均非常紧密，高品质的制作工艺功不可没。

抛光材质虽然质感非凡，但也有缺点，便是容易留下指印，尤其是屏幕部分，在大块光滑有机玻璃覆盖下，指印的痕迹也相当明显。黑色外壳酷味十足，与橙色Walkman标志形成强烈的视觉冲击，机身数处都用了充满活力的橙色作为点缀，加上曲线修饰，展示W900的动感一面，不至于太深沉乏味，相信设计师是花了很大一番心血的。

面板设计非常平滑，很有点iPod的味道，橙色的Walkman标志和五维导航键十分抢眼，七个功能键围绕导航键均匀分布，“七星伴月”的意境大概如此吧。导航键为银色磨砂材质，采用硕大的圆盘造型，灯光亮起后，视觉效果十分出色。各功能键都是轻触式设计，键程都不长，但弹性很好，操控舒适。

由于手机体积充足，因此各种侧键与接口分布也是有条不紊。合盖状态下，左侧是Walkman音乐快捷键、锁定键、状态灯以及MSD Pro接口。和W550一样，W900也加入了锁定键设计，使用更方便。挂绳孔和充电/数据接口位于手机底部，与记忆棒插槽一样有着橡胶防尘盖的保护。

为了方便横置拍摄，快门键放置在手机右侧，还有音量键以及红外接口。索爱的主流手机一直保持着完善的外接性能，红外、蓝牙和USB接口都是悉数具备。两段式快门键很有心思地采用水晶设计，晶莹剔透又能与外壳和谐搭配，相比W800和K750，快门键周围少了灯光的围绕，但无伤大雅。

与W550的全手动旋盖不同，W900采用了手感更佳的半自动旋盖，只需轻轻推动，上盖马上自动弹出，当关闭至2/3的时侯，上盖又会自动收回，即使机身宽大，实现单手开合也并不难。上盖背面也不忘加入Walkman标志作为点缀，留意数字键下方的凹点和导轨，它们正是实现半自动开合的关键。

需要注意的是，上盖可向左右两个方向旋转，只能作180°转动，如果用力过度……别指望掰断的两截手机能变成两部W900。数字键手感与功能键一致，键程不长而弹性甚佳，柔软的按键即使长时间操作也不会感到手指酸痛。至于数字键和功能键跨度，则在乎手掌的大小了，笔者的手操控起来还是相当顺利的。

　虽然MP3音乐手机迅猛发展，但线控似乎得不到足够的重视，功能一直不强，索尼Walkman随身听的口红式线控堪称经典，可见线控对于Walkman的重要性。W900在保留入耳式耳机的同时，更改进了线控的设计，扁平式外型配合橙色水晶边框非常吸引，加上三围滚轮、音量键和主按键，操控性非常好，更难得的是加入了液晶显示屏，所有操作一目了然，关于HPM-80耳机和线控的评测，将在以下详细介绍。

W900的包装延续了W800的模式，但盒子色彩改为黑色，配件非常丰富，充电器、USB数据线、工具光盘、HPM-80耳机等都有配备，入耳式耳帽也配了三套，切合不同人的需要。但MSD记忆棒不在标配之列，看在470M海量内存的分上，记忆棒列为可选配件也在情理之中，无需提高手机的成本和价格。

和W800相比，W900的长度相仿（合盖状态下），但宽度和厚度都有一定增长，强劲的硬件配置令体积不得不作出一定牺牲。锂电池容量与W800一样为900mAh，W900的硬件配置已经大幅增强，因此续航能力比W800有所减弱，但2天以上的使用时间还是不成问题的。W900的外型设计可说非常出众，经过精心设计的线控更让人爱不释手，3G时代的Walkman强音已经发出。

重出江湖之QVGA：
　　在S700c的时代，QVGA屏幕已经出现，但不知是何缘故，索爱在后来的拳头产品中均没有采用QVGA屏，即使是年度大作、Walkman手机先驱的W800，也只是176×220像素的屏幕。如今，让人渴望已久的QVGA屏终于重临，240×320像素的分辨率加上26万色显示，再次把屏幕效果发挥至顶峰，与2.2英寸面积配合如鱼得水，色彩缤纷、细腻逼真，显示效果非常好。

迎合Walkman的身份，经典的橙色Walkman主题桌面再度出现，内置壁纸也多以橙色为基调，多款新颖壁纸尽现W900的时尚节拍。等待画面的手机也更换为W900了，好玩的主题功能依然保留，更改主题之后，除了墙纸、屏幕保护等元素外，连主菜单图标和动画效果也会一并更新。墙纸、开机画面、屏保和屏幕亮度都能自由设定，功能与W800等机型看齐。

震撼听觉之Walkman：
　　W900并不具备立体声扬声器，但无碍其音质表现，位于机背的大口径喇叭音量非常大，铃声风格偏向清脆和高音，对于人声的还原效果也相当不俗，无论40和弦铃声或MP3歌曲均演绎得有板有眼，唯一不足的是在最大音量时会有少许嘶哑的电子音，与W800相比，音量胜出一筹，却在音质方面作出一点让步。

在激活线控后，内置的LED灯会为你带来惊艳的感觉，加上水晶边框的折射，很有未来科技的感觉。通过主按键可方便地切换MP3和FM功能，液晶显示屏虽不能显示曲目，但简单的动画、FM频率和音量显示都是非常实用，音量和歌曲控制都能通过线控完成，长按主按键则对应开关功能。

通过W900收听MP3的感觉非常好，入耳式耳机极大地隔绝了外界噪音，佩戴也是十分舒适，饱满的低音是其特质，开启MegaBass音效之后更是如此，带来更强烈的震撼感，高音相当纯净，但不够通透明亮。W900的整体音质已经能挑战市面上的中高档MP3，如果利用HPM-80线控的3.5mm接口，换上其他更优秀的耳机，其音质表现将会再次提高。

性能强劲之拍摄：
　　与W550一样，W900必须在合盖状态下才能启动相机功能，索尼Cyber-Shot拍摄界面得到延续，整体功能更接近数码相机了。W900支持高端的自动对焦功能，两段式快门键半按对焦、全按拍摄，支持夜间模式、微距模式、点测光、LED补光灯等高级设定，内置4种特效和5种白平衡模式，200万像素镜头最高可拍摄1632×1224像素的照片。

W900也支持有声视频摄录功能，可利用200万像素镜头外拍，也能利用10万像素的副摄像头进行自拍，照片拍摄的大部分设定都能应用其中，而且配合QVGA分辨率的屏幕，视频分辨率也提高至240×320像素，速率达到30FPS，与主流DC看齐，视频效果令人期待万分。

　马上进入视频录制测试：自动对焦之后，视频摄录开始，画面的确极为流畅，马赛克现象也不明显，拍摄过程中会因应环境进行自动测光，而且数码变焦也能充分利用，声音录制相当清晰。拍摄完毕之后的保存速度也十分快捷，放在电脑中观看，发现马赛克现象并不明显，回放依然非常流畅。240×320分辨率和30FPS都令W900的视频摄录有了很高的实用价值，值得称赞。

　　W900的自动对焦速度与环境光线相关，如果光线充足，普通对焦可在1秒内完成，而夜间和微距则延长到2秒左右。日间环境下，W900的成像相当好，物体真实，质感逼真，细节还原不错，变形和紫边也控制得很好，不过暗部会出现轻微噪点。夜间拍摄的曝光颇为充足，但噪点会明显增强。自动对焦功能令W900能应付远景和微距拍摄，对焦十分精准，背景虚化可以轻松做到。总体来说，W900的拍摄成像与W800、K750大致相同，表现同样出色。

3D世界之游戏：
　　音乐是W900的首选娱乐方式，但精彩的3D游戏同样不能忽视，且不说其硬件配置如何强横，我们只关注实际的游戏效果。著名游戏公司Game Loft为W900献上出色的竞速游戏DDAsphalt 3D，对于N-GAGE游戏熟悉的朋友相信如雷贯耳了吧。W900的Asphalt世界采用全3D图形构成，主画面非常精致，音乐激昂澎湃，赛车以360度3D方式旋转，造型细腻精致。游戏的画面尚算流畅，对于速度要求非常高的竞速游戏来说，已经算是不错的表现，特有的疯狂加速系统大大增加了游戏的刺激性，缺点是没有音乐，音效也较为单调。

另一个PowerBall Arcade游戏同样出色，玩家控制一个滚动的圆球，以高速运动拿取场景中的宝物，并越过各种障碍，全3D画面下，运行依然流畅，并能以多角度观看，很有点家用游戏机的感觉。最后一个QuadraPop游戏则是索尼爱立信的自家作品，属于方块组合类游戏，此类游戏的特点是耐玩性十足，加上可爱的造型和清新的画面，足以打发你的无聊时光。所有游戏的读取速度均相当快，无需太多等待即可享受W900的游戏乐趣。

运筹帷幄之商务：
　　在手机响应速度上，W900比W800略有迟缓，但属于可接受范围之内，相信是屏幕分辨率提高，以及功能增强的缘故。1000组联系人记录，内含5个电话号码、电子邮件、网址、地址、生日等众多信息,对于普通用户来说已是够用有余了，而且电话簿可复制至记忆棒之内，待需要时可自行恢复，非常人性化。打字速度几乎没有延迟，输入法也十分好用。
